Effects of MDF Substrate Surface Coating Process on UV Inkjet Print Quality

چکیده
The structural properties and whiteness of the substrate surface markedly effect printing quality are closely related to primer coating processes. Herein, four different roller schemes were applied on MDF surfaces change their color, whiteness, gloss, roughness characterized for UV inkjet printing. Data analysis was conducted explore effects these variables color reproduction, relative contrast, gloss substrates. results showed that, according CMYK, L*a*b* values spectral reflectance data, finishing with a 40 g/m2 layer transparent combined three layers white at 20 per roll had best reproduction Regarding correlation glossiness significant, while minor. value positively correlated it negatively roughness. When relatively high, lower glossier. We sought optimize all aspects by coating. this work provide feasible application method improve enhance added low-quality boards, as well further expand in wood decoration market.

Effects of coating formulation on coating thermal properties and coated paper print quality in xerography
The effects of coating formulation on thermal characteristics of coating layers (namely thermal diffusivity, specific heat capacity and heat conductivity) were systematically studied and their impact on xerography print quality was evaluated. Model coatings were prepared using ground calcium carbonate or kaolin pigment mixed with styrene butadiene latex binder in various proportions (from 6 to ...

This paper presents an experimental platform which is used to study the effect of DLC coating on surface roughness. Variety of experiments is conducted and the effect of variation of the coating process parameters and type and combination of sub layers on the surface roughness of the coated part is discussed.
متن کاملCan-Printing Process Uses UV-Curable Coating
Approximately 100 billion aluminum cans are produced annually, mainly for the beverage industry. Early technologies for decorating the cans often used solvent-based coatings containing solvents at concentrations of -70% to 75% by volume (Randall 1992). The solvent composition was typically a mixture of aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatics, ethers, cellosolves, and acetates. Unfortunately, this met...
